International Graduate Student Fee Summary (2026-2027)

For full-time students seeking master's degrees in: Applied Computer Science and Society; Applied Economics; Bioscience, Technology, and Public Policy; Criminal Justice; Cultural Studies; Environmental and Social Change; Indigenous Governance.

The annual total fees for full-time international MA, MSc, and MEnv students are approximately $20,166.32. These fees are paid in three instalments, one each term, as outlined in the tables below.

The annual total fees for full-time international MDP students are approximately $27,357.44. These fees are paid in three instalments, one each term, as outlined in the tables below.

The annual total fees for full-time international MMFT students are approximately $14,887.94. These fees are paid in three instalments, one each term, as outlined in the tables below.

The annual total fees for PhD in Bioscience and Policy students vary based on what year of the program the student is enrolled in. 

Years 1,2

The annual total fees for full-time international PhD students in the first and second years of their program students are approximately $20,166.32. These fees are paid in three instalments, one each term, as outlined in the tables below.

Year 3

The estimated total fees for full-time international PhD students in their third year of the program are $5,423.36, distributed between one Thesis-Writing Term, and two Continuance Terms.

Please note that in addition to the above there is a $76.50 fee to register for a Thesis-Writing or Continuance Term, and another each term thereafter. 

Years 4+

The estimated total fees for full-time international PhD students in and beyond their fourth year of the program are $7,419.29 distributed between three Continuance Terms (see "Continuance Term Students", below, for breakdown). 

Please note that in addition to the above there is a $76.50 fee to register for a Thesis-Writing or Continuance Term, and another each term thereafter. 

International students on a thesis-, practicum-, or comprehensive-exam-writing term pay only Manitoba Blue Cross  and UWSA Health Plan (GreenShield) fees  during that term.

Please note that there is a $76.50 fee to register for a Thesis-, Practicum- or Comprehensive-Exam-Writing Term, and each Continuance Term thereafter. 

Continuance Term fees are calculated on a term-by-term basis.

The estimated total fees for a full-time international student's Continuance Term range from $1,757.43 to $2,785.93 per term. 

Please note that there is a $76.50 fee to register for each Continuance Term.
