Domestic Graduate Student Fee Summary (2025-2026)

Below you can find an estimate of total fees for domestic Master's and PhD students, as well as the payment deadlines. Total mandatory fees for domestic students include tuition (program fees), incidental and one-time fees, and U/GPass fees (full-time only). If desired, domestic students may opt in to the UWSA Health Plan for an additional fee.

If the fees on this page differ from those appearing on the student's financial account, those on the student's account are the official amounts due

Student fees are subject to change from one academic year to the next
JMP students pay their tuition fees at the University of Manitoba. Please visit University of Manitoba Graduate Tuition and Fees
Qualifying Year students, Occasional Students, Visiting Students, Exchange Students, Western Deans' Agreement Students, and students in the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Economics program have their fees assessed based on the number of credit hours in which they are enrolled. Thesis-, Practicum- and Comprehensive Exam Writing Term Students

Domestic students pay none of the mandatory fees during their thesis-, practicum-, or comprehensive-exam-writing term.

Please note that there is a $76.50 fee to register for a Thesis-, Practicum- or Comprehensive-Exam-Writing Term, and each Continuance Term thereafter.

Continuance Term Students

Continuance Term fees are calculated on a term-by-term basis.

The estimated total fees during a Continuance Term range from $1,757.43 to $1,995.93 per term.
