Credit-Based Billing (2026-2027)
Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Economics, Qualifying Year, Occasional, Visiting, Exchange, and Western Deans' Agreement Students' fees are assessed based on the number of credit hours they are enrolled in.
Total fees include tuition, one-time and incidental fees, health insurance fees, and U/GPass fees.

Tuition
For domestic students: $184.75/credit hour
For international students: $762.75/credit hour
Students taking courses through the Western Dean's Agreement are only charged incidentals. International students will be charged for health insurance if they cannot provide proof of coverage through their home institution.

In addition to tuition fees, students on course-based billing pay incidental and one-time fees. Domestic and International Students pay these at the same rate.

Fitness Centre Fees
Graduate students on course-based billing may opt in to a UWinnipeg Staff/Associate/Youth membership at the Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre. Please visit Memberships and Services for the most up-to-date fees and information.
International Students

Domestic Students
Domestic graduate students are not automatically registered for the UWSA Health Plan, but may choose to opt-in. Please vist UWSA Health Plan or contact the UWSA for more information.
U/GPASS is a transit pass for unlimited use on Winnipeg Transit services from September 1 to April 30. Your student ID card is required when using this pass. Only full-time students are eligible to receive the U/GPASS. The U/GPass is $238.50/term for Fall and Winter term.
