Office of Indigenous Engagement
The Office of Indigenous Engagement at the University of Winnipeg provides a number of different events, programs, and supports for students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Funding

Indigenous Summer Scholars Program
The Indigenous Summer Scholars Program (ISSP) engages Indigenous undergraduate students and recent graduates from undergraduate programs in a variety of scholarly, collaborative, and community-based research projects while they explore the possibilities of graduate studies.
Indigenous Alumni
The Weweni Future Scholars Award is given to and Indigenous University of Winnipeg alum who is entering a PhD program. The intent of this fund it to help students further their knowledge and expertise in their field of study without financial constraints.
