Payroll deduction for UWinnipeg staff/faculty is available. Please bring the completed payroll deduction form to the Customer Service Desk for processing.

Your Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre Membership includes access to:

    • State-of-the-art cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights
    • Fitness Classes (Yoga, Zumba, Boot Camp, and more). See our Fitness Class Schedule here.
    • Indoor running/walking track
    • Change rooms and saunas
    • Racquetball and squash courts with online reservation system 
    • Dr. David F. Anderson Gymnasium (available for scheduled drop in). Check out basketball drop-in times
    • Free Fitness Centre orientation

Daily Drop in

$12.00 per day - includes daily locker and towel.

UWinnipeg Students: Available to UWinnipeg Undergrad, Collegiate and ELP students, as well as Booth College and Brandon University Psych Nursing students. These Student Memberships expire August 31st. To activate your student membership please visit the Duckworth Centre Customer Service Desk. Please have your student card with you.

UWinnipeg Staff/Associate/Youth Membership: Available to UWinnipeg Staff & Faculty, UWinnipeg PACE, Theology, Family Therapy, and Joint Program Students; UWinnipeg Retirees and Employee Spouses, High School and Post-Secondary Students; Sport Manitoba Elite Athlete Program; Staff from Downtown Biz, NRC and Midwifery Program Staff and Youth ages 16-18 years old.

Community Membership: Available to residents living in close proximity to UWinnipeg and SNA staff. For more information on eligibility, please click the link: Community Member Borders

  • Locker and Towel Rental:

Lockers expire the same day as your membership. If not renewed by the expiry date, lockers will be cleared and resold. You require a valid Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre Membership to purchase or renew your locker. All cleared items will be held for 30 days. After 30 days items will be donated to a local charity.

NEW 2024 Locker Special! Save 25% on all 4, 8 or 12 month locker rentals (Towel Service is Included).

  • Membership required to be eligible (Locker special not available through payroll deduction).
  • Available for both renewals and new purchases.
  • Special starts January 5th 2024 (ends February 29th 2024)

*Please do not leave items in daily lockers overnight. Items will be removed and put in the lost and found.

Important Notes: 

  • Students may only purchase lockers by the term or academic year.
  • A valid membership is required to purchase or renew your locker.
  • Full and half lockers are available in the changerooms.
  • Mini Locker rentals are available by the squash courts.
  • Daily Lockers are available on the main floor outside the Fitness Centre
  • Free daily lockers are available by the squash/racquetball courts (please bring your own lock for use).
    • Please note all daily lockers have limited availability and are on a first come first serve basis.
