What if I Change my Mind?

After you register, but BEFORE classes begin, you can still change your mind.  You may add or delete or change your course selections on WebAdvisor/Student Planning.

AFTER classes have started, you can make a change using WebAdvisor/Student Planning during the “Course Add/Drop Period” and you will be eligible for a refund.

After the Add/Drop Period, you may still withdraw from course(s) using WebAdvisor/Student Planning but you will not be eligible for a refund.  Also, you must drop the course by the “Final Date for Withdrawal without Academic Penalty,” or you risk receiving a failing grade on your official transcript.

Complete Withdrawal from the University:

Prior to the Final Date for Withdrawal you can drop your courses online. After the Final Date, you should see an Academic Advisor to discuss your options including whether you can appeal for a retroactive withdrawal from your courses.

NOTE:  If you just stop attending classes, this does NOT constitute a withdrawal. Failure to follow correct withdrawal procedures may result in a failing grade and a loss of tuition fee credit.
