If graduate school is, in many ways, one long exercise in personal and professional development, why does it sometimes feel so challenging to pause, reflect, and take a step back before leaping forward? Taking time to consider your goals, values, skills, and experiences can help you make more intentional decisions, whether your aspirations have remained consistent or evolved over time. In this session, you'll be introduced to the Individual Development Plan (IDP) framework and explore how it can help you identify priorities, recognize opportunities for growth, and intentionally plan for your future.
Objectives:
- clarify personal and professional goals
- understand the IDP framework for future use
- identify skill gaps and strengths for development opportunities
