2023-2024 Graduate Studies Writing Tutor: Megan Lindell

Mon. Oct. 16, 2023

The Faculty of Graduate Studies is pleased to introduce Megan Lindell, the 2023-2024 Graduate Studies Writing Tutor. Megan is an Anishinaabe-Métis woman from Turtle Clan. Her focus is on community relations from traditional and spiritual perspectives among all living beings. Megan hopes for all life to be respected in life-giving ways - including the freedom to live a truthful identity.  She is writing an auto-ethnography titled Creating with Creation for her MA in Peace and Conflict Studies thesis.

Megan has been a tutor and mentor to Indigenous students at the University of Winnipeg for several years and is looking forward to help graduate studies students.  Over the Fall 2023 term, Megan is holding virtual drop-in sessions for graduate students seeking the help of a writing tutor. Megan aims to create a safe space where students can brainstorm ideas, learn how to write, and develop the skills to become confident writers.

Megan’s drop-in availability is below, and one-on-one appointments are available upon request by emailing m_lindell@hotmail.com.
