Grad Student Meet and Greet and Awards Ceremony

Celebrate the start of term with fellow graduate students, faculty, and staff!

Join us for lunch as the event begins with a celebration of the 2025-2026 major award winners. Recipients of CIHR, NSERC, and SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarships, Research Manitoba Master's Studentships, the University of Winnipeg Graduate Studies Scholarship,  the President's Distinguished Graduate Student Scholarship, and the President's Scholarship for World Leaders receive congratulations and a certificate of achievement from Dr. Kyle Devine, Dean of Graduate Studies. 

Then, the Grad Student Ambassadors takeover and grad students are free to mix and mingle. This is the first of several grad student events the ambassadors will have planned for the year. Come meet your peers and see what activities the ambassadors have in store for 2025-2026!
