Graduate Studies Awards and Scholarships
The University of Winnipeg Faculty of Graduate Studies has an array of awards and scholarships to assist students in funding their graduate studies. Scholarships, funded by the province and/or the generosity of the university's donors, are awarded to outstanding applicants. Below is a list of the major internal scholarships facilitated by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

- The President's Distinguished Graduate Student Scholarship
- $17,500 for one year of study
- International and domestic students
- Full-time students only
- The University of Winnipeg Graduate Studies Scholarship
- $7,500 - $15,00 for one year of study
- International and domestic students
- Full- and part-time students may be eligible
- The University of Winnipeg President's Scholarship for World Leaders
- $5,000 for the first year of full-time study
- International students
- The Donald V. Snider Memorial Fellowship
- Annual gift, award amount varies, but typically >$8,000 for one year of study
- Joint Master's Programs only
- Must be a graduate of a Manitoba university
- The Senator Thomas Crerar Scholarship
- The Weweni Future Scholars Award
- $12,750 for one year of study
- First-year PhD students (unless applying for renewal)
- Indigenous alumni from The University of Winnipeg
- Linda Brown and Vana Kirby Graduate Scholarship
- $1,000 for one year of study
- International and domestic students
- Full- and part-time students
- Preference may be given to a graduate student with a disability
