Capstone Students Meet with Dr. Ethel Tungohan, Canada Research Chair in Canadian Migration Policy, Impacts and Activism

4th-year Human Rights students from the Capstone in Human Rights seminar had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Ethel Tungohan, Canada Research Chair in Canadian Migration Policy, Impacts and Activism, to discuss her new book, "Care Activism Migrant Domestic Workers, Movement-Building, and Communities of Care."

Dr. Tungohan facilitated a seminar at the University of Manitoba on March 19 entitled "Care Activism in Canada: Migrant Domestic Workers, Dissident Friendships and Decolonial Care," in conversation with Migrante Manitoba organizer Diwa Marcelino. The talk was presented by the Centre for Human Rights Research (CHRR), in partnership with Global College, as part of the CHRR's Critical Conversations series.
