Showers and Change-Rooms
UWinnipeg offers showers & change-rooms for individuals to use after their commute.
The Science Complex & Richardson College for the Environment currently has two locations – 0RC12 and 0RC09 – both of which are available at no cost and are open to all students, staff and faculty.

Fix Your Bike for Free!
Visit the UWSA Bike Lab on main campus, near the courtyard entrance to Centennial Hall.
Established in 2011, the UWSA Bike Lab is the central hub for cyclists in Winnipeg’s downtown core. It’s an easily accessible on-campus maintenance pit-stop for students and community members. The lab hosts workshops for all skill levels and it is also open during the week for cyclists to drop-by and work on their bikes.
Bike Parking
UWinnipeg has two types of bike parking, Closed-access and Open-access (free) parking
1. Closed-access parking
The Duckworth Centre Parkade:

-approximately 20 spaces.
Axworthy Health & Recplex Parkade:

This is an ideal, underground location for winter riders. There are approximately 20 spaces.
McFeetors Hall Bike Cage:

Located in front of the main building entrance and has approximately 30 spaces.
An/X Bike Cage:

The An/X building bike cage has approximately 40 spaces. Access is only available to staff and faculty who work in the AnX complex. Register through Brian, the building manager, via email.

2. Open-access Bike Parking (free)
Main Campus Bike Racks:

Located in ‘B-Lot’ beside the Bike Lab [near the interior courtyard entrance to Centennial Hall]. Approximately 200 spaces. No prior registration is required; availability on a ‘first-come-first served’ basis.
RCFE Bike Racks:

The Richardson College for the Environment (RCFE) has approximately 60 outdoor bike spaces. Bike racks are located at the front of the building along Portage Avenue, with a few others positioned along Langside. No prior registration is required; availability on a ‘first-come-first served’ basis.
Buhler Centre Bike Racks:

The Buhler Centre has approximately 15 outdoor spaces. Bike racks are located at the front of the building along Portage Avenue. No prior registration is required; availability on a ‘first-come-first served’ basis.

Employee Wellness and Sustainability Account
The purpose of the account is to encourage healthy living for employees as well as better health for our communities and the environment by helping to offset the cost of physical activity, wellness programs, recycling, sustainable transportation, and other sustainable activities.
Benefit Amount
Eligible UWFA-RAS and Excluded Academic Employees - Maximum claim amount: $75
Eligible AESES, IUOE and Excluded Support Employees - Maximum claim amount: $100
Eligible Reimbursement Includes:
- Bus passes/peggo card and bus tickets
- Personal bicycle and replacement parts
