Information on Accessibility

The Duckworth Centre has an accessible fitness centre, change rooms, and a fully staffed Athletic Therapy Centre in the lower level (elevator wheel chair access).

  • Disability loading zone for licensed Handi-Transit vehicles is on Spence Street immediately in front of the main entrance.
  • The Duckworth Centre main entrance has an automatic opening door (activation button on far-left).
  • Elevator for access to all four levels - elevator is wheelchair accessible.
  • Accessible washrooms on the second level with doors (buttons to open); wheelchair accessible toilets, sinks and dryers.
  • To get to the track on the second level, use the elevator and then the ramp just to the left of the men’s washroom.
  • Seating for Duckworth Centre events is available at court side (main level) or on the track (second level).
