Student Sustainability Leadership Program

In response to COVID-19, the University of Winnipeg Campus Sustainability Office (CSO) is working to keep University of Winnipeg students connected to professional development opportunities on campus and in the wider community.

The Student Sustainability Leadership Program will provide monthly workshops for participants to learn skills and knowledge related to environmental issues, social sustainability, community organizing, and more. Participants will also be placed with a local community organization working on sustainability issues, where they will volunteer 10 hours per month and share their learning with other participants.

This placement will give students a real-world understanding of the four pillars of sustainability (environmental, social, economic, and cultural) within local communities and beyond.

Dates:

This program will run from October 29, 2020 to April 29, 2021.
