The University of Winnipeg is once again proudly participating in the Green Action Centre’s annual Commuter Challenge from June 1st - June 7th, 2025.

RUN, BIKE, BUS, CARPOOL, ROLL or STROLL!

The Commuter Challenge is a week-long friendly workplace competition that's going to get you moving! 

Here’s how the challenge works: 

  1. Green Action Centre has partnered with GoManitoba to host this year's commuter challenge. GoManitoba is a FREE platform which supports Manitobans to connect with sustainable transportation options. Register on the UW GoManitoba portal here to log your commutes during the challenge and join our 2025 team!
  2. When you log your commutes on your GoManitoba portal, this will calculate your KMs and CO2 saved, which will automatically contribute to UW's Commuter Challenge stats and make yourself eligible to WIN prizes! Check out the Green Action Centre prize list here.
  3. For internal prizes, participate in the UW Commuter Challenge Bingo game! Print or download the bingo sheet below, visit or pass by the locations listed on the card, snap a pic, cross the location off your bingo card, and send the pic to us at the end of the week for your chance to WIN! UW bingo sheet and prizes to be announced shortly.
