Downtown BIZ Spring CleanUp
Earth Day 2026 is on April 22, and this year's theme is Our Power, Our Planet. To fit this theme, University Advancement and the Campus Sustainability Office are partnering to create an official UWinnipeg team for the Downtown BIZ Spring CleanUp on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
This initiative will allow UWinnipeg staff, faculty, and students to get outside and support the local community through collective action.
For the 2025 Downtown Biz’s Spring CleanUp, it was stated that over 900 volunteers from roughly 85 workplaces showed up to make this initiative a success, and it would be great if our campus was involved!
The first 100 registrants will get a free UWinnipeg Spring CleanUp t-shirt, and a group photo will be taken!
This event is on Monday, May 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration closes at 5:00 p.m. on April 30.
