Have you ever wanted to share your research with a wider audience? If so, please join us on February 4 for a special workshop with Scott White, Editor-in-Chief of The Conversation Canada. This unique online publication combines academic and journalism expertise that is read by millions of people each month. The workshop will explain the publishing platform and focus specifically on helping academics and researchers on a good "story pitch." Professors, PhD candidates and Masters students are eligible to write for The Conversation. Participants are encouraged to bring a story idea they want to discuss.

The Conversation Canada launched in June 2017, and the University of Winnipeg is a founding member. The Conversation is an independent source of news and views, from the academic and research community, delivered direct to the public.
