The University of Winnipeg offers a range of research chair and award opportunities designed to recognize and support excellence across all stages of a scholar’s career. These programs were developed to enhance the ways the University honours both emerging and established researchers, providing meaningful support for impactful academic work.

In addition to these awards, the University maintains several research chair positions that celebrate scholarly leadership, advance priority areas of research, and strengthen the institution’s commitment to innovative, community-engaged research.
