University Animal Care Committee

The University Animal Care Committee (UACC) is comprised of the University veterinarian, Ethics Program Officer, and representatives from the University Vivarium, the Safety Office, each department that uses animals in research or teaching, the student body and the general public. This committee is tasked with review and approval of all Animal Care Certificate applications, and act as an advisory body to the Vice-President, Research and Innovation on all matters concerning the use of animals in research and teaching.
