Morton Stanley Calof Scholarship in Inner City & Urban Studies
This scholarship is provided by the Erica & Arnold Rogers Fund for Academic Excellence. It will be awarded annually to the most promising student entering their final year of the Inner City & Urban Studies Major.

Larry Morrisette Memorial Award
This award will be awarded to Indigenous students majoring in the Department of Urban and Inner-City Studies at The University of Winnipeg. Recipient selection will be based on three criteria: strong academic performance, positive community involvement in Winnipeg's inner city, and financial need.

Joseph Zuken Award
Funded by the Joseph Zuken Scholarship Fund at The Winnipeg Foundation, this award will be provided to a student who is majoring in the Department of Urban and Inner-City Studies at The University of Winnipeg. Recipient selection will be based on three criteria: strong academic performance, positive community involvement in Winnipeg’s inner city, and financial need. Created at The Winnipeg Foundation by friends and colleagues shortly after his death in 1986, The Joseph Zuken Memorial Trust Fund supports charitable, educational and cultural activities that reflect Zuken's values.

Jim Silver Award
The Jim Silver Award will support students enrolled in the Department of Urban & Inner-City Studies. The recipient selection will be based on financial need, academic merit, and community involvement. This award was created by Mr. Michael Nesbitt in honour of Dr. Jim Silver. Dr. Silver dedicated his life to studying socioeconomic issues in Winnipeg. One such achievement was the completion of the Merchants Corner project which has become a catalyst for positive change in Winnipeg’s North End.

The Leo Panitch Community Outreach Award at Merchants Corner
This award will be given to an Indigenous student who is majoring in the Department of Urban and Inner-City Studies at The University of Winnipeg. Recipient selection will be based on the student recipient demonstrating the following three criteria: strong academic performance, positive community involvement in Winnipeg’s inner city, and financial need. The award recipient will also be responsible for community outreach in junior high schools and high schools.

The Leo Panitch Award at Merchants Corner
The Leo Panitch Award at Merchants Corner.This award will be given to a student who is majoring in the Department of Urban and Inner-City Studies at The University of Winnipeg. Recipient selection will be based on the student recipient demonstrating the following three criteria: strong academic performance, positive community involvement in Winnipeg’s inner city, and financial need.

Rutman Family Bursary
The Rutman Family Bursary commemorates the enduring spiritual legacy of Luba and Fishel Rutman, and the life they built together in Canada. After surviving the Holocaust and immigrating to Canada, they dedicated their lives to instilling the highest positive values in their children and grandchildren - honesty, a joyful acceptance of people's differences, an appreciation of the non-materialistic aspects of life, and a love of learning. It will be awarded annually to a student who demonstrates financial need and has one or more courses in Urban and Inner-City Studies.
