CRiCS: Centre for Research in Cultural Studies

Established in 2018, the Centre for Research in Cultural Studies (CRiCS) is located in room 3C25 (3rd Floor Centennial Hall, see the contact page for directions) at the University of Winnipeg, and is a hub for interdisciplinary collaboration between students, faculty, visiting scholars, postdoctoral fellows, and community research partners. CRiCS houses the Canada Research Chair in Culture and Public Memory and the Cultural Studies Research Group, and supports the Master’s Program in Cultural Studies by providing a context for the training of graduate students. The Centre is equipped with a knowledge mobilization lab, research assistant workspace, data management facilities, a resource room, and offices.
