Dr. Jane Barter is Professor of Religion and Culture. She is author of several works, including her recent monograph, Theopolitics and the Era of the Witness (Routledge, 2025). Barter’s areas of research include modern Christianity and political theology. Barter was co-editor of the CRiCS series, “Articulating the Pandemic.” She is also general editor of the T & T Clark Encyclopedia of Christian Theology.
