Alumni Association Annual General Meeting

Thank you to those of you who attended this year's meeting.

The next meeting will take place September 2024.


The University of Winnipeg Alumni Association Council invites you to get involved by standing for election to Council. The Alumni Association is a non-profit organization that supports the goals of the University and promotes affiliation among graduates. We send out a Call for New Members to the Alumni Council each spring to begin a three-year term beginning at our AGM each September.  In addition, Nominations From The Floor are accepted at our AGM.  The nominee must come prepared with a written resume and give a brief presentation prior to elections explaining their interest in the Alumni Council and what they feel they can contribute to the operations of the Council.

The Council meets monthly, but members help with communications, events, and special projects outside of those meeting times. Council members also work with representatives on The University of Winnipeg Board of Regents. The University's vision for downtown Winnipeg and leadership in academic excellence, Aboriginal education, sustainability, theatre and arts make volunteering on Council a rewarding experience.
