Dr. Glenn Moulaison Selected as New Dean of Arts
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Glenn Moulaison has been selected as the new Dean of Arts as of July 1, 2012. Dr. Moulaison came to the University of Winnipeg in 2005 as a faculty member of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, where he later assumed the roles of Acting Chair (2008) and Chair (2009). Dr. Moulaison most recently served as Acting Dean of Arts, but prior to that was the Associate Dean of Arts (2010-11).Dr. Moulaison completed his Ph.D. in French Literature at the University of Toronto, where he was a Connaught Scholar as well as a Junior Fellow at Massey College. After teaching two years at Saint Francis Xavier University, he joined the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Lethbridge, where he spent eight years before coming to the University of Winnipeg.
Dr. Moulaison's research interests are varied and multidisciplinary in approach. He has published works on French poets, like Arthur Rimbaud and Jean Cocteau, on Acadian and French-Canadian literatures, on literary criticism, on linguistic variation.
