Dr. Fiona Green Appointed as New Associate Dean of Arts
A graduate of the University of Winnipeg, Dr. Fiona Green has been teaching in
Women's and Gender Studies (formerly Women's Studies) since 1998, becoming its
first Chair in 2007, as well as serving as the Co-Director of the Institute for
Women's and Gender Studies since 2006. Dr. Green holds an interdisciplinary (Education, Sociology, Women's Studies) Ph.D. from the University of Manitoba and is a stellar teacher and accomplished researcher. Her recent book, Maternal Pedagogies: In and Outside the Classroom, co-edited with Deborah Byrd, was published by Demeter Press in 2011.

Dr. Green had been serving as the Acting Associate Dean of Arts since September 1, 2011.
