Student Awards - The Opportunity Fund

The goal is to create a $10 million endowment for the Opportunity Fund to help ensure access to a post-secondary education for everyone, regardless of background and socioeconomic status, and especially students who are traditionally under-represented in higher education.

Work-Integrated Learning

UWinnipeg knows that work-integrated learning builds workforce capabilities, as well as the skills and individual prospects of students as members of the community and Canada’s labour force.

Academic Enhancements

UWinnipeg is known for academic excellence, with teaching and research that adds value and depth to our broader community. Opportunities exist to support this mission through “named” community and corporate Chairs. A research or teaching Chair is a senior professorship granted to an academic who has attained preeminence in his or her field.
