Academic and Career Services staff are happy to assist you in-person or via Zoom. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm. We are located on the first floor of the Rice Centre, 489 Portage Avenue.  Please email us at advising@uwinnipeg.ca 

Current Student/Recent Alumni appointments:

One-on-one appointments are a great place to start for all your career and employment questions.  Career Advisors are here to help whether you are a current UWinnipeg student or recent alumni. 

Appointments with a Career Advisor can be booked in the following ways:

Please always specify the type of appointment you are requesting in your booking (in-person, Zoom or phone). 

  • For Zoom appointments: your Advisor will send out the meeting link in the morning the day of your appointment.  To attend your meeting, click on the link and enter the provided password. Please have your Student ID ready to present to your Advisor. 
  • For in-person appointments: We look forward to seeing you on the 1st Floor of the Rice Centre (489 Portage Avenue).  When you arrive, please check-in using the ticketing machine in the lobby.  Your ticket number will be called on the TV monitor when your Advisor is ready to see you.  Please have your student ID ready to present to your Advisor. 

Note: Please always email us from your webmail account and provide your student number as part of your message.
