Career Services offers a wide range of supports to students and recent graduates of The University of Winnipeg, including assistance with career planning and job search strategies.

The University of Winnipeg is committed to the safety of our students and staff as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve. As a result, Academic and Career Services staff are currently working remotely.

Need help coping with anxiety related to COVID-19?

The Anxiety Disorders Association of Manitoba (ADAM) has set up a new support line to assist people who are struggling with anxiety about COVID-19.   Hours: M-F 9 am-9 pm; Sat-Sun 10 am-4 pm.  Please call 204.925.0040.


What does Career Services offer?

We can help you with Career Planning - with tips and tools on how to assess yourself, explore different fields, decide on a career path and then make it happen.  We have compiled resources on occupations, graduate schools and pre-professional admission testing (MCAT, GMAT, etc.), and ways to get experience through internships and volunteer positions.   

When you’re ready to look for a job, whether it’s a part-time job during your studies or your first career position, we have advice on how to conduct a Job Search.  We have suggestions and samples for preparing resumes and cover letters and CVs, as well as tips on getting ready for an interview.  Check our job listings regularly.
