June 24: Cercle Molière Summer Job opportunity:

Cercle Molière has a Canada Summer Job posting of “Videotape Technician”. The job doesn’t include any videotape but will include shooting video content, editing video, some livestreaming and other multimedia stuff. If you are interested you can see the link below OR send your CV and cover letter/email directly to Miguel Fortier, Technical Director, Cercle Molière,  Spoken and written French is a big plus but they are considering all applicants.



  • Due to the University's goal that all Fall 2020 courses (including those that carry into the Winter term) be deliverable online, we are unable to offer THFM 3313-Advanced Picture Editing.  Please click here for information and adjustments to the Film II application process as a result.
  • Deadline for Film II applications has been extended to June 26, 2020, and only one sample of work is now required.  Please see our revised submission information and form.  All submissions this year will be online. 




Plans are in the works for the 2020-21 UWPG Film Festival!  Check back here regularly for updates.



When you are ready to shoot your film and are looking at locations around the building or campus, please familiarize yourself with the Location Shoot Procedures, and complete the Location Shoot Permission form.  Keep in mind that the process may take up to two weeks, so please plan accordingly so you aren't disappointed!

If you are considering locations off-campus, please make sure you speak to your Instructor about the appropriate authorizations and paperwork.  Third-party insurance may be available for you through the University; please see the department office at 3T03 for information.
