Opioid Poisoning Response Training

The UWinnipeg Safety Office, in collaboration with the St. John Ambulance Service is pleased to provide several Lunch and Learn sessions to connect people with information about Opioid Poisoning and the response to such incidents. Opioid Poisoning has become a growing concern among Canadians and the course content will not only provide basic steps for individuals on how to respond, but will also address other matters such as liability of getting involved, stigma surrounding Opioid use, and trends in the health care system to address substance abuse.

All sessions are held virtually on Microsoft Teams between 1230h and 1330h. You will recieve the link by email from St. John Ambulance in the week prior to the session. To register your participation in the Lunch and Learn series, please complete the following form.
