Biography:

Saidah Namayanja completed her doctoral studies in English and Related Literatures. Her research interests include but are not limited to, identity studies in multicultural communities, migration, and diaspora, the complexity of place branding in modern ‘global’ communities. Saidah has extensive experience in teaching and tutoring in different fields related to language studies, comparative literature, cultural studies, women’s literature and gender studies and much more.

Teaching Areas:
Early and medieval poetry, literary genres (drama and the Novel), postcolonial theory and criticism, and gender studies
