Faculty of Business and Economics

Beyond Business. Beyond Economics.

The Faculty of Business and Economics at The University of Winnipeg breaks down barriers between traditional management disciplines and exposes students to a wider range of study than at most business schools. Our BBA is a multidisciplinary degree, in which students will learn from departments outside of Business and Economics that include Political Science, Geography, History, and Rhetoric & Communications. The core curriculum provides a solid foundation upon which a richer, broader business education can find footing.

Our program is unique in that it allows students to enter directly into the Faculty of Business and Economics and start taking classes in their first year of study. Students have the opportunity to learn in a personalized setting based on close student-faculty interactions.

The Faculty is located in the Buhler Centre, downtown on Portage Avenue, placing us at the centre of Winnipeg's Financial & Business community.  We have strong links with local, national, and international business associations and communities.

At the Faculty of Business and Economics - we're not just creating graduates - our goal is to create socially conscience business leaders and entrepreneurs who are capable of adapting to the ever changing needs of a modern business world.
