Our Building Infrastructure division ensures that the University of Winnipeg's facilities remain comfortable, connected, safe, and secure throughout the year. We manage a comprehensive range of building systems and services to support the campus community.

From air quality to energy management, our team is dedicated to maintaining and improving the infrastructure that powers your university experience.

What We Do

Our division oversees critical building systems and services, including:

1. Air Quality & Balancing: Ensuring optimal indoor air quality and ventilation.

2. Building Automation & Energy Management: Utilizing advanced systems to control & optimize energy use.

3. Specialized Systems:
• Chemical fume hoods and exhaust systems.
• Data and low-voltage cabling.
• Security systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection).

4. Mechanical Maintenance:
• Heating, cooling, and plumbing systems.
• Preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment.

5. Safety & Emergency Systems:
• Fire extinguishers, fire protection systems, and gas monitoring.
• Emergency power systems for uninterrupted campus operations.

6. Engineering & Electrical Services:
• Elevator and lift systems.
• Lighting and lighting control systems.

7. Campus Facilities Support:
• Maintenance of kitchen equipment, water systems, and more.
