Hugh Grant appointed Dean of Business and Economics

Dr. James Currie, Provost and Vice-President, Academic is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Hugh Grant as Dean of Business and Economics for a five-year term starting July 1, 2019.

A faculty member of UWinnipeg’s Department of Economics since 1986, Grant has previously served as the departmental chair (1993-99), as well as acting Associate Dean (2015, 2016) and acting Dean (2016, 2018-19) for the Faculty of Business and Economics.
