Inside a Thousand Eyes: The Work & Impact of Sharron Proulx-Turner

The UWinnipeg Library and Archives, and the Department of Women's and Gender Studies will host a 2SLGBTQ+ History Month event, “Inside a Thousand Eyes: The Work and Impact of Sharron Proulx-Turner," on Wednesday, October 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Convocation Hall. The formal program will begin at 5:30 p.m. and conclude at 7:15 p.m.
The late Sharron Proulx-Turner was a Two-Spirit Métis poet and author, Elder, Sweatlodge keeper, Sundancer, mother, and grandmother. Sharron’s children, Barbra Horsefall and Graham Angus, will join us to celebrate Sharron’s writing and her contributions to the Two-Spirit community. The event will also celebrate Barb and Graham’s donations of material items to the Two-Spirit Archives.
