Faculty Candidates Lectures

PUBLIC LECTURES FOR THFM FACULTY CANDIDATES, APRIL 17 - 21

We invite you to attend public lectures to be delivered by candidates for our Department’s Performance Movement position. The speakers will be delivering thirty-minute public lectures, during which they will share examples of their applied movement techniques through their work on past theatre productions.   

All teaching demonstrations are scheduled from 10:00 to 10:30 am* in room 2T15, Asper Centre for Theatre and Film, on the following days: 

Pat Chan, Monday April 17 

Aria Evans, Tuesday April 18 

Menka Nagrani, Thursday April 20 

*Please note that at 10:30 we will be closing the room to the public in order to move efficiently into a private teaching demonstration. 

In addition, we invite you to attend a longer public lecture by Dr. Paul Monaghan. Dr. Monaghan will speak about his approach to teaching Classic dramatic texts and/or dramaturgy as a candidate for a limited term contract in Dramatic Studies. This lecture will take place on Friday April 21 from 10-11:30 in CENT 3C14.
