Update on Services for Winter Term 2022:   

With rising concerns about the highly transmissible omicron variant, UWinnipeg will revert to remote learning for most courses for the start of Winter Term 2022 until Reading Week (February 20 – 26, 2022).  The remainder of Winter Term will be re-evaluated at the end of January.

Student Services — including academic advising, awards and financial aid, counselling, and others — will now be supporting students remotely. No in-person appointments are being accepted.

Campus Living will continue to support and reach out to students in residence.  International, Immigrant, and Refugee Student Services (IIRSS) will reach out to International students who have just arrived or are arriving soon.

Student Services in Rice Centre, 489 Portage

The majority of student services are located at 489 Portage Avenue in the Rice Centre.    A few departments are in other areas of campus.  See below for locations of all departments:

  • Student Central is your first stop for many services:  applying for admission and awards/financial aid; getting help with registration; paying tuition; getting a Student ID card and locker; and many other transactions.
