Love Your Data: A Guided Tour of Borealis

You’ve collected, cleaned, and analyzed your data—now what? Join us during Love Data Week for an introduction to Borealis, the University of Winnipeg’s research data repository, and learn how it supports responsible data sharing and long-term preservation.

This online workshop will cover the basics of Borealis, including its collection policy, deposit requirements, and metadata standards. We’ll walk through the deposit process together and highlight several UWinnipeg datasets to show what a successful deposit looks like in practice. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer picture of how to prepare your data for deposit and how Borealis can help increase the visibility and impact of your research.
