EDI in Mentorship

There will be a workshop on April 17 led by Mika Castro, Research Office Program Officer for EDI in Research, on EDI in Mentorship practices. Their workshop, “Towards Inclusive Mentorship: Incorporating EDI into Your Mentorship Practices,” is available for all UofW staff, faculty, and students to attend.

Mika Castro joined the Research Office in 2025. They completed their BA in Psychology and Women's and Gender Studies at The University of Winnipeg, and completed their MA in Women's and Gender Studies at the University of Toronto. They are the Program Officer for Social Sciences, Humanities and EDI in research.
