Research Week: How Do I Get Involved in Research for the First Time?

Dylan Jones, Program Officer for Research Awards, Chairs, and Special Initiatives, will lead this session addressing various topics related to engaging in research for the first time. The session will cover the following areas: an overview of undergraduate research, the benefits of participating in undergraduate research, the process of applying for research funding, strategies for identifying research opportunities, and common challenges faced by undergraduate researchers. There will also be an opportunity for questions at the conclusion of the presentation.

This session is hosted by Students of Science Association (SOSA). 

This is a free, public event and open to everyone. No registration is required.
