Eric Loo, Senior Advisor, Manitoba Business Development, Mitacs leads this online session showcasing the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship program, and Globalink Research Award.
Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is a competitive initiative for international undergraduates from other countries and regions. From May to October of each year, top-ranked applicants participate in a 12-week research internship under the supervision of Canadian university faculty members in a variety of academic disciplines, from science, engineering, and mathematics to the humanities and social sciences.
Faculty members interested in hosting an Mitacs Globalink intern for Summer 2026 are encouraged to attend this info session. This session will provide information covering the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship Program, including an overview of the GRI timeline and the application procedure. In addition, Eric will also briefly go over the Mitacs Globalink Research Award (GRA) program supports research collaborations between Canada and eligible countries and regions through intern(s) international mobility.
There will be time for questions at the end of the session.
