Open Access Town Hall

What: As first announced on July 4, 2023, the Tri-Agency will be revising the Tri-agency Open Access (OA) Policy on Publications by the end of 2025, potentially to require immediate OA on all journal publications. A crucial step of the revision process is engaging with members of the research and scholarly publishing communities.

Why: This Open Access Town Hall is a chance for you to share your perspective on open access, both publishing and access to reading. We'll capture your feedback and provide it to the Tri-Agency as a written submission.

Where: Please join us, either in-person (3RC060, Richardson College for the Environment and Science Complex) or on Zoom. Regardless of whether you'll join in-person or on Zoom, please register here.
