This Research Starts Here (RSH) webinar will provide UW researchers a description of Research Manitoba's New Investigator Operating Grant (NIOG), due March 1. 

The New Investigator Operating Grants support Manitoba’s early-career researchers to achieve the research productivity and track record necessary for obtaining longer-term, more sustainable funding.  

  • Value:
    • Up to $65,000/year (Health Research)
    • Up to $25,000/year (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research)
    • Up to $20,000/year (Social Sciences and Humanities Research
  • Duration: 2 Years
  • Application Deadline: March 1, 2024 4:00 PM CDT (Application Form)
  • Support Letters Deadline: March 15, 2024 4:00 PM CDT (Support Letters)

All ECRs within their first four years of their initial faculty appointment should attend!
