With text coaching on SIR’s Macbeth behind him, Tom stepped into two exciting opportunities this summer as a dialect coach for screen projects currently in production.
He worked with cast members, including Australian actor Luke Bracey, who plays Charles Ingalls in Little House on the Prairie—a moving, visually rich adaptation of the beloved novels, filmed in and around Winnipeg. A collaboration between Netflix, Paramount, and CBS, the series offers a fresh take on a classic American story.
Tom also provided coaching on November 1963, a tense, character-driven crime drama directed by Oscar-nominated Roland Joffé (The Mission) and starring John Travolta, with Mandy Patinkin and Dermot Mulroney. The film explores the Chicago Outfit’s alleged involvement in the assassination of John F. Kennedy, led by notorious mobster Sam Giancana. Set against a backdrop of internal tension and escalating stakes, it captures a volatile world where plans unravel and loyalties fray. Of all the lead and principal actors Tom coached, his work with the actor portraying Sam Giancana was especially rewarding—their extended time together allowed for a deeper, more collaborative process, marked by mutual respect and appreciation.
