Brenda Gorlick- Newest RWB Honour Roll Inductee

Wed. Apr. 30, 2025

Brenda is shown leaping into the air wearing tan coloured pants and a cgolden coloured camisole. Her hair is flying and her expression is exuberant.

Created on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the RWB Honour Roll of Distinguished Alum recognizes and pays tribute to the artists and builders who’ve made a significant and lasting contribution to the RWB and/or the world of dance. Brenda is one of three proud recipients of the RWB's 85th Anniversary Honour Roll Awards. Brenda Gorlick’s remarkable connection to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet spans more than five decades and reflects her lifelong dedication to the arts as a performer, educator, choreographer, and advocate. Her journey with the RWB began as a young student in the General School, before progressing through the Junior and Senior Professional Divisions under David Moroni. In 1979, she joined the RWB as an apprentice to the Company under the direction of Arnold Spohr, marking the start of an outstanding professional career that would remain closely tied to the RWB for decades to come.
