Dr. Glen Bergeron inducted into Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame

The Department of Kinesiology and Applied Health congratulates Dr. Glen Bergeron on his recent induction into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025.

Dr. Bergeron has practiced athletic therapy for more than four decades and founded the Athletic Therapy Program at the University of Winnipeg. He has served on the medical teams for five Olympic Games and was the chief therapist for both the FISU and Pan Am Games.

Dr. Bergeron continues to be a strong advocate for the Department of Kinesiology and Applied Health, the Enhanced Major in Athletic Therapy and the profession of athletic therapy. He has had a lasting, positive impact on countless University of Winnipeg graduates who have gone on to practice as athletic therapists and other medical professionals. We are grateful to have him in our department and proudly congratulate him on his Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame induction!
