Jessica Antony


Jessica Antony, who taught many sections of Academic Writing as well as Advanced Editing, recently moved to Waterloo, Ontario.

She has taken a new position as Senior Research Editor for the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario (HEQCO). Through evidence-based research and evaluation, HEQCO provides policy recommendations to the Ontario government to enhance the accessibility, quality, and accountability of the province’s colleges and universities. Their studies focus on things like system design, the alignment of learning outcomes with labour market needs, and addressing the barriers faced by marginalized groups in accessing and completing post-secondary education. Jessica will be working with academics and researchers to ensure that their reports are accessible to both post-secondary decision makers and the public in order to provide insights into make positive changes to the Ontario post-secondary system.

We wish her success in taking up this challenging new career.
