Tuition (Program fees)

Tuition, or program fees, are fees that graduate students pay for enrollment in their program. Program fees are distinct from course-based tuition fees in that students pay their fees in term-based installments, regardless of the number of credit hours in which they are enrolled each term.

Students enrolled in the Joint Master's Program (History, Peace and Conflict Studies, Public Administration, and Religion) pay their fees through the University of Manitoba and should visit University of Manitoba Graduate Tuition and Fees.

Important Reminders

The fees listed below are for the 2023-2024 academic year and are subject to change from one academic year to the next.
The total fees for domestic students include tuition/program fees (listed below), incidental and one-time fees, U/GPass fees, and UWSA health plan (Greenshield) fees (if elected). For an estimate of total fees for domestic students please visit Domestic Graduate Student Fee Summary.

Thesis/Practicum/Comprehensive Exam Writing Term Students

Students enrolled in a thesis-, practicum, or comprehensive-exam-writing term do not pay tuition fees.

Continuance Term Student Tuition

For all students: $1,257.65/term ($3,772.95/year)

All students pay the same continuance term tuition, regardless of whether they are domestic or international, full- or part-time.
