Information for Staff

Can I work from campus?

Yes. Starting Tuesday, March 26, a temporary Wi-Fi network called TEMPWIFI will be available on campus. Campus electronic doors are working, and campus is open and operational. 

Please note that some key tools used by staff are currently unavailable.

The following services are available:

The following services are not yet available:

  • VPN

What is the web address for MyHR?

MyHR can be accessed at https://myhr.uwinnipeg.ca.

How do I report time worked by my employees?

MyHR is fully operational and there are no delays or impacts to employee pay. Please continue to submit hours worked like normal.

How can I access my T4?

There is no interruption to your access to T4s in MyHR. If you have any concerns, please contact payroll@uwinnipeg.ca for assistance.

Who can I contact with general questions?

You can contact HR by emailing human_resources@uwinnipeg.ca. We will connect you with the most appropriate person as quickly as possible.


Are mail delivery and parcel services currently operational?

Yes, the mail room is fully operational. You can expect to send and receive parcels as usual.


Are there any issues with parking?

All parking on campus is working. Inquiries should be emailed to parkingservices@uwinnipeg.ca


Are we able to print anything on campus?

Printing services on campus are now available. No changes have been made to on-campus printing services. To re-enable printing from your UWinnipeg-managed laptop or desktop, you must restart your computer while on campus.

Printing and copying are also available via Print Services. Print requests can be emailed to printjob@uwinnipeg.ca or dropped off at Print Services in 0B08 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Most orders will be completed within 24 hours.


Is Security Operating normally?

Yes, Security is operating normally, we are still staffed 24/7 and are available to assist at any time.

How do I get access to campus after hours and on the weekend?

The service outage has disabled the intercom system. To gain access outside of operating hours (evenings and weekends), please enter through the Centennial Hall entrance at the South side of the building.

Are the security monitoring systems operating?

Yes, all security systems, including cameras and alarm systems, are functioning normally and are being monitored by security staff.
