Unsigned Agents
If you are an agent without a UWinnipeg agent agreement, or an applicant choosing to work with an unsigned agent to apply to UWinnipeg, please note the following:
- Personal contact information (including email) for the student must be supplied on the application form. An agent’s name and email may be indicated separately in the “Agency Information” section of the application form.
- The student must complete the Authorization for Release of Information form and send it from their personal email address to intladmissions@uwinnipeg.ca
- Withholding student contact information or responding as the applicant may result in the termination of the application or cancellation of the Letter of Acceptance.
- Fees for services performed by unsigned agents are negotiated between the student and agent. However, it is not permitted to charge for or withhold an official Letter of Acceptance from the student.
- After the application process is complete, the agent may email welcome@uwinnipeg.ca with the student name and number to inquire about potential future collaboration with UWinnipeg.
